COVER DESIGN

Selling covers are more than a single image. GPS takes extra care in the design of back covers and flaps, creating an over-all package that sells. We believe in the dramatic use of type and strong colors.

For that striking cover, we have contacts with some of the finest illustrators and photographers in publishing.

NEW IMPRINT DESIGN

We had created a distinctive look for award-winning horror and fantasy publisher, Fedogan & Bremer. (At Right) When they needed to expand with a new imprint: F&B Mystery, the company commissioned GPS to usher in a new look.

We adapted a new logo from F&B's original and went on to design the first new dustjackets of the mystery line. We contacted all new artists for more a realistic look to their covers.

OVERSIZED TRADE PAPERBACKS

GPS has produced comic compendiums, published scripts, convention program books and more. These books are most often heavily illustrated and need a longer production time, but they are oftentimes the place where we can stretch our imagination and deliver some eye-catching layouts and designs.

CHAPBOOK DESIGN

Sometimes a short work cries out to be published in a chapbook format, or a publisher needs to produce a chapbook as an advance look for an upcoming release. We can handle the whole process of production, working with local printers to achieve dynamic results. We are able to handle specialty papers, four color covers, or simply black and white as the project demands.
